Cremorne 2
Sydney Harbour has been a great inspiration for me over the years. I have counted over 20 paintings which I have made of this gorgeous stretch of water. It is the combination of the natural shoreline in contrast with the buildings on land and the boats on the water which still has the power to excite ny senses after first seeing the harbour way back in 1953, when I first sailed in through the Heads in an old Liberty ship called the Nellore.

This is a view of Old Cremorne, seen from across the Bay in Mosman.
