There is always a sadness about selling paintings which then disappear from your life. It is a bit like the poor in the past having to sell their kids to keep the wolf from the door. I can only hope that my little labours of love end up in good homes where they are appreciated!

I have sold all the still lives I ever painted. At least I can say that they helped to pay off the mortgage!
