This is the main entrance to the Hong Kong Wetland Park. It is situated in the New Territories, and t is easy to find your way there.
Catch the MTR West Rail Line to Tin Shui Wai Station, then take the Light Rail to the Park. There is a short walk from the Light Rail to the Wetland Entrance. |

This is a view from the Entrance Building, looking North towards the distant hills of the Chinese Mainland. | |||
This is Pui Pui. He is a crocodile who now lives at the Park. | |||
Pui Pui is a shy creature. | |||
There are well-maintained paths and board-walks throughout the Park. | |||
There are several hides located throughout the Park so that visitors can see birds without disturbing them. | |||
There is a Butterfly Garden which attracts hundreds of these delicate creatures. | |||
Mud, Glorious Mud! These amphibious creatures thrive here. | |||
This little bird seemed to have no fear of humans. He almost asked me to take a photo of him. | |||
This fish looks highly intelligent. | |||
The Hong Kong Wetland Park is dedicated to conservation, education and tourism. It was opened in May, 2006. | |||
