| Centennial Park is a large, green space, right in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. It is an ideal place for walking, jogging, cycling and skating. There are areas reserved for sports of various kinds, and, in some sections of the park, dogs are allowed to roam free. But, first and foremost, it is a great sanctuary for birds of all kinds. It has several large, shallow lakes.
This is a photomontage upon which I have drawn and painted in order to capture the serene spirit of the park. I particularly enjoy walking here in the evening when most of the people have departed and the sounds of the birds fill the air. |
