| Although this painting was completed in 1992, it was one of a number of works which I began in the mid 1980s and which were executed in a range of semi-abstract styles. Eve refers to a theory that we humans are descendants of a marriage between the apes and the dolphins. The subject was inspired by my fascination with scientific hypotheses which are unorthodox, to say the least. I love wacky science! |
