The Rainbow Bird
As a young art student (in ages past), I started out using mediums like oils, watercolours and egg tempera.

In the Sixties, in London, I taught myself how to use the brand new medium of acrylics (I actually adapted the egg tempera technique of underpainting with fine brush strokes, and then glazing and scumbling with the gloss medium).

Now we have a beautiful new medium for creating images... Photoshop. The image above was made entirely in that medium. Ah! The blessings of modern technology.
