Still Life, with Apples and Grapes
This still life was painted way back in 1965 and sold soon after. I have no idea where the original is at the moment. Still lives and landscapes were the bread and butter of my work as a painter in those early years when I existed solely on the sale of my paintings.

I have recently bought a slide scanner (an HP Scanjet G3010) and have started going through my large collection of slides and turning them into digital images. Ain't technology wonderful?

I came across a slide of this still life, and it appears to be the only image of this work which I have.

By the way, I can thoroughly recommend the HP Scanjet G3010. The quality of its slide scans is truly amazing! And, no, I don't have any shares in Hewlett Packard.
