This view of Sydney faces West from the hill East of Rose Bay. This was an opportunity to play with shapes and with the playful meanings of shapes. The building on the bottom right is a convent and a school for girls, hence the upside down sign for the feminine. The Harbour Bridge is often called the Old Coathanger, and the question mark flows from that.
